Three Peaks Horseshoe

Three of the finest peaks in the Rhinogs (Rhinogydd) feature in this moderately difficult circular walk. The trio of Moelfre (1,932 feet, 589 metres), Y Llethr (2,461ft, 750m) and Diffwys (2,106ft, 658m) are collectively known as the Rhinogs Horseshoe but are each glorious hills in their own right and very different in character to each other. Far-reaching views of both the Cardigan Bay coastline and Mawddach Estuary will be seen in clear conditions.. The terrain can be boggy in places and there will be some steep ascents and descents. The start point is the Cors y Gedol Hall car park (£3 daily) at Dyffryn Ardudwy.
