NEW Onto The Dyfi Hills
£7.00
An opportunity to visit the less-trodden picturesque Dyfi (Dovey) Hills near Cadair Idris is offered by this new circular A-walk which starts at the Mach Loop plane spotters' car park on the A467 at Bwlch Llyn Bach. There is a steady climb to reach the top of a ridge which offers spectacular views back towards Cadair. The route then follows the ridge with views in all directions opening up. After reaching Waun O'er, a steep descent and more gradual further ascent will head towards Cribin Fawr and old mine workings at Cloddfa Gwanas Quarry. The return follows an old track down towards Cross Foxes, crossing the main road and picking up the Mary Jones Way in reverse.
