Autumn’s Ancient Woodland & A Bronze Age Hillfort
£7.00
Join wildlife expert and regular leader Matthew Davies on one of his ever popular walks - a circular walk up to the Bronze Age Clogwyn Arlief hillfort. The first half of the route will be on roads and farm tracks with a small but steep climb up to the hillfort itself. There should be great views from the top of Pen Llyn (Llyn Peninsula) and the Rhinogydd. The return is through ancient oak woodlands and the Celtic rain forest, which may be boggy. This walk coincides with the annual Llanbedr Beer Festival so if you want to make your own way back to Barmouth on public transport you are welcome to do so! Please note we strongly recommend car share for this event as it is an extremely busy weekend for Llanbedr village and the distances between start point and public transport connections will add considerable distance. Location of the start is Coed Aber Artro car park, Llanbedr.
