NEW Madocks Meander Through Tremadog Town
£7.00
Step back in time to the early 18th Century with a circular walk in the footsteps of Georgian entrepreneur and visionary William Alexander Madocks who was instrumental in creating the communities of Tremadog and nearby Porthmadog. In a leisurely stroll, Blue Badge tour guide Siân Roberts of Telyn Tours will tell the stories behind the buildings of this unique and universally loved tiny town. It is easy walking, mostly pavement, a large part on the flat but with an uphill lane for a picnic lunch stop above the town. An agreement between Cyngor Gwynedd and the Golden Fleece Inn, where the walk starts, allows the general public to use the pub’s toilets. There is limited parking at the square and along adjacent roads.
