Stunning Nantlle Ridge
£7.00
The legendary Nantlle Ridge in Eryri (Snowdonia) is one of the classic ridges in the UK with this superb circular walk offering an opportunity to reach four of its exhilarating series of dramatic peaks including Y Garn, Mynydd Drws-y-Coed, and Mynydd Tal-y-Mignedd. Experience of mountain walking is required for this route which features a very strenuous ascent to start with, rewarded by superb views of the rest of the ridge. There will be some scrambling both up and down in places and some descending is on springy heather. The return is via the Upper Pennant valley and stretches of Beddgelert Forest which may be muddy in places. The walk starts at the Cwellyn Arms at Rhyd-Ddu. There is some free parking and also toilets available at paid parking back along the main road.
