NEW Beddgelert Belter

A great mix of landscape is offered by this delightful new walk which starts with a stunning riverside trail from Beddgelert to Nantmor and then up to moorland at Cwm Bychan which can be boggy, passing copper mining relics. There then follows a descent to Llyn Dinas and through woodland passing waterfalls to reach the Watkin Path which is one of the main ways up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). An ascent up a section of the Watkin to Bylchau Terfyn is followed by heading down to Craflwyn Hall and back to the main Dolfair car park off the A498 at Beddgelert. The strenuous ascents require care underfoot but are rewarded with superb views.
