Two Spectacular Summits, Y LLethr & Diffwys
£7.00
The summits of two of the main peaks of the dramatic Rhinogydd mountains are reached in this superb circular walk which takes in Y Llethr and Diffwys from near to Cors-y-Gedol Hall, a 16th Century manor house. Starting at the car park at the head of Ffordd Gors in Dyffryn Ardudy, the route travels up the valley beneath Moelfre before ascending to Y Llethr which at 2,480 feet (756m) is the highest peak in the Rhinogydd. There then follows five miles of spectacular ridge-walking via the summit of Diffwys, standing only marginally lower than Y Llethr at 2,460 feet (750m), before descending back to the valley and returning to the start point. Dogs should be on leads.
