Dolgellau to Barmouth (SC)

Following registration, take 9:32am T3 bus to Dolgellau from Jubilee Roadstop in Barmouth. Arrives 9:55am.

Any walkers taking dogs will be advised to make alternative transport arrangements to get to the start of the walk, as the bus companies only allow dogs on at the discretion of the driver.

A lovely, undulating walk running at mid level with the estuary to the right and the Cadair Idris ridge to the left. We start with a straightforward, quiet road ascent almost to the day's highest point (only 240m/790'.) We then continue, passing King's Hostel and Cregennan Lakes before we descend to Barmouth bridge with great views of the estuary and the town.
