Moelwyns from Tanygrisau (AT)

We start by following the winding road up to the reservoir at Llyn Stwlan then take the steep path to the summit of Moelwyn Bach. We then follow the ridge before our second steep climb to the summit of Moelwyn Mawr. Weather permitting, we should have extensive views across to Cnicht, Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and towards the south of the national park. We then aim for Moel-yr-hydd, another fine viewpoint, before descending on a path towards the top of Rhosydd Quarry. The track back to Tanygrisiau starts off moderately steep before easing off and continuing on the level through Cwmorthin and along the lake back towars our start point
