Garn Fach and Y Garn from George lll, Penmaenpool (GG)

Ascent (Feet): 2300

We start the gentle ascent to the ‘secret valley’ of Cwm Mynach on woodland paths. This is followed by a steep ascent to Garn Fach with lovely views. There is rough ground and some boulders to negotiate before reaching the summit of Y Garn. From the summit we will begin the long descent, through woodland, along paths and then a lane, to return to the George lll.
