Ascent (Feet):

Our walk starts with a brisk ascent up through the Ysgethin Woods, followed by a less strenuous few miles over an old pack horse bridge through an area steeped in ancient history. We then scramble up over a boulder field to reach the summit of Moelfre. From here we enjoy amazing 360 degree views of the coast, the north of Eryri National Park and the whole Rhinogydd range, before descending steeply to a path taking us back to the start of our walk in Talybont via Gors Y Gedol.

DOG owners please note, there are two high ladder stiles and an old one stone stile that are unavoidable on this walk. We also climb up over boulders. Your dog should be agile enough to climb these or small enough to be carried.
